Environmental advantages of CP-SAGD
The most important benefit of CP-SAGD technology is that it is an emission-free energy source, resulting in reduced environmental pollution. The CP-SAGD recovers the end-of-life thermal energy stored in in-situ thermal oil sands reservoirs. CP-SAGD uses that low-quality energy to generate electricity.
